Membership Information

Membership in the ISCC can take several forms:
  • Member Bodies includes any non-profit society, association, or organization of national scope, interested in color and desirous of participating in the activies of the Council for the furtherance of its aims and purposes as set for in the Constitution
  • Sustaining Members are organizations or individuals that are not otherwise elegible to be member bodies. Typically, these are companies, or even organizational units within companies. Some sustaining members are individuals who wish to support the ISCC beyond the level of an individual member.
  • Individual Members include persons interested in color and desirous of participating in the activities of the Council for the furtherance of its aims and purposes as set for in the Constitution. Note that any Society, organization, or corporation not eligible for membership as a Member-Body is eligible for individual membership by designating a person from the organization as an individual member.
  • Student Members include any junior, senior, or graduate student registered in a college or university of recognized standing and is interested in color and desirous of participating in the activities of the Council for the furtherance of its aims and purposes as set for in the Constitution.

Student Chapters

  • Student chapters have been established at universities with a concentration of students are interested in any aspect of color and color science. Currently, chapters have been established at the Rochester Institute of Technology and the University of Chicago.
